Stansted Park - House and Gardens

Stansted Park started life as a hunting lodge 800 years ago and survived a disastrous fire in 1900.

Families will love the new yew maze in the lower walled garden.

Enjoy a bit of nature with the Stansted Garden Centre and a walk through various footpaths of the forest.

Travel back in time with the Stansted Park Light Railway and ride on the many steam and diesel locomotives.

Delicious homemade lunches and teas are available at the Pavilion Tearoom in the walled garden or visit the stately Chapel of St. Paul.

Delight in the handmade chocolates at Le Salon Du Chocolat or buy some ceramic jewellery at The Studio Pottery.

The children will love the many craft courses, which can be found at the Buttercup Blue gift shop, and all the family can enjoy some culture by way of some Musical Evenings.

As well as catering for corporate events such as training courses and board meetings, Stansted Park is a fantastic wedding venue. The Music Room is licensed for civil ceremonies and the grounds are perfect for those all important photographs.

Follow the Brown Heritage signs from A3 or travel by train to the Havant station just 4 miles away.

The house and chapel are open April and May on Sundays and Bank Holidays from 1pm-5pm and June, July, August and September on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1pm-5pm.
